Hi! I'm Zach, the person behind Awen Effects. I'm originally from a small town in Wales but I currently live in Germany, where I build pedals from the spare bedroom in my apartment. (My neighbours hate me.)

I got into pedal building a few years ago when I bought myself a DIY pedal kit, and that was it, I was hooked! Since then, I've spent countless hours, days, and weeks learning how these things work, tinkering with circuits, and building pedals. It's genuinely all I think about, and it's a massive passion of mine.

I'm not sure what else to say about myself. I like fuzz, walls of sound, that kind of stuff, you know. I'm a huge mbv fan, and if you think my pedal is a reference to some kind of film, anime, game, or something, it probably is.
